FICO Score

I have a WAMU credit card and i get my FICO score via online monthly.  My score has dropped 82 points in the last 2 months.  I have not applied for any new credit and dont have any late payments.  I was wonder why this might happen?   The score is from Trans Union.  My score from Equafax is MUCH higher.  Any thought?

Re: FICO Score

I also have a WaMu card that shows my credit profile.  I've noticed for more than a year now that my credit score is incorrect on WaMu each month.  A lot of times I will go and pull my report at MyFICO shortly after I see my score for the month on WaMu.  It NEVER matches... not even close.  Not only that, but one month my WaMu credit profile showed a 30 point drop out of nowhere that would not have matched anything going on at the time.  I pulled my report from TransUnion (who WaMu shows they're getting their report from) and it did not show the drop.

The bad thing about WaMu giving an incorrect score, at least for me, is that the number they show is always 20-50 points higher than my actual score... which can make me think I'm showing in a different score/risk category than a potential lender would see me.  It makes me wonder what the purpose is in giving us our scores if they aren't accurate.

Re: FICO Score

the WAMU score they provide is "bankcard Enhanced"
it has more emphasis on credit cards.
This is also covered in the 101 thread above.
