FICO score same for 6 months?

My Fico score has not changed in 6 months and I can't work out why. All things being equal. it generally improves a bit month to month then nothing-and it appears there is no one to discuss this with

any ideas???

What are you using to monitor your scores? Are you reporting any balances, and do they change month-to-month?

It depends on your profile and what scorecard you're in.  When I was in a dirty scorecard, I had Fico scores that didn't move for nearly a year due to having hit a ceiling based on my profile.  That being said, 6 months could definitely be considered a "normal" amount of time to see no score movement if in fact you've hit a ceiling.

As the other member asked above, where are you getting your scores?  If you could also provide some information surrounding your profile that would be helpful... such as clean/dirty, thick/thin, young/aged, etc.

It happens. I was at 730 for 14 months on TU. It finally broke 6 months ago to 735 and has started to climb since. Go figure.

As long as your reports are clean (and not seeking credit or new accounts) they will eventually go up.
