So I received some information from lender pull scores which say Experian (Ver. 2) score range from 320-844, TU/04 score range from 309-839 and EQ Beacon 5.0 range from 334-818. I thought there was one specified range for CRAs? Can someone explain this to me or show a link more about it?
Thanks!
Here's the link but as you are aware there are 49 versions of FICO. FICO 04 is/was used by most mortgage lenders

FICO score ranges are 300 - 850. Those are the real world ranges which is the maximum scores for those versions/models you can get.
It explains it in the link Lexie provided.
The FICO score range per FICO is 300 to 850 which is the range that can be generated by the score.. There was legislation regading rsk based pricing and credit score disclosure it was a part of the FACT Act. of 2003 (Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions) and Dodd Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The range being reported is the range bureau has seen for that score model. This is not a perfect explantion of why the ranges ore different but I hope it helps. FICO has put some information regarding this legislation the link is below.
