Did an Early Exclusion with Transunion on October 1st. Collection deleted instantly. Held my breath for a couple of days, but finally saw a giant +52 point score increase today! Yay!!!
I figured I'd get a score bump, but I had also read a 6.5 year old collection doesn't hold much weight in scoring.
Have to wait until Dec 31 for Experian and Equifax still shows 4. Per the boards, have never disputed or contacted them. Anyone want to explain how I just recently had a "new collection" added to Equifax when actually, it's a duplicate? Sigh.
