Flex spending cards effected score - how to correct?

The only late payments reported on my credit report were for 2 old flex spending cards.  The payments on these accounts were not controlled by me, but by a third party administrator.  I have an amount withheld from my paycheck which is then sent to administrator to pay the charges.  Can I get these accounts removed from my report/score?

Hello and welcome to myFICO.

How old are the lates and how severe are they (30 days late, 60, 90, etc.)? That can make a difference in how much they are affecting your scores.

Both of the payments were 30 days late and they date back to 08/08 and 07/07.  I'm not sure how much that would affect the score, but I'm just on the cusp between ratings and a few points would make a difference.

After several years 30 day lates begin to have much less of an impact (if nothing else has changed) so these are quickly fading but they are still there for all the world to see. All you can do is write GW (Good Will) letters to the creditor who is reporting them and ask nicely if they will delete the lates early. Otherwise they can stay for 7 years from each individual date of delinquency.
