In 2014 I was up to my ears in debt. I just paid off all my credit cards two weeks ago and only have a car loan and mortgage payment. I never thought I would see this day. Now to be able to retire in 2025, I am going to start stashing my pathetic 401K.
MyFICO really has helped me over the years and always will be appreciative of everything I learned in here.
Good for you, and good luck moving forward! : )
Awesome ... Congrats! ..
Great success story here! I love to see it. MyFICO making dreams come true!
Awesome. Congratulations on your progress.

I'd be updating that signature with that beauty! Congrats!!
Very cool, congrats OP!
Just curious what caused the 17 point jump? I was guessing maybe AoYRA reaching 12 months, but it would be nice to know what somewhat major change allowed you to pin the needle.
I definitely do need to fix that. It's way outdated.
I had consolidated some debt into a credit card with 0% APR and really hit it hard making large payments for the past 2 years. I got a decent bonus that paid off the rest of the debt so now I have less than 1% debt in cards (it's my credit union credit card that I will easily pay down the next couple of months now). Other than our house payment and car payment and other monthly bills like utilities and cell phone, I do not have to pay finance charges on any other debt. Now to look forward to retirement and hopefully build a nest egg now that I wasn't able to do until now.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to reply.
