Help getting my score up for a newbie ...

Hi guys new to the board, and wanting to get my score up so I can have lower APR's and not have trouble borrowing for loans. Here are my details;

Credit score for Equifax is 580

I have 9 accounts, but only 4 of them have balances; a student loan for $1,500, a car loan for $5,000, a BOA credit card debt of $1,300 and some random $94 debt that I'm looking into (I have no idea what it is) ...so all together about $8,000 in debt. The other accounts are debts that had been paid off right after college but were 120 days late.

So my question is...where should I start?  The BOA credit card is hurting me because it says I am using "100% of all my revolving credit"...that only being the credit card (which has been with a debt collector for awhile and I havent used in years). My student loan I'm behind on and is in collections...and my car loan is current and I've made my payments on it.

So I'm just confused on which bill I should start with first as I'm sure paying off one might be more beneficial than starting on another.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'm still a young student wanting to get my credit back on track so I don't have to rely on mommy and daddy to help me with co-signing or anything else for that matter...thanks!! Smiley Happy
