Is there any thread or any way to know which version of Fico each lender uses ie cap One, discover, Nfcu, Chase etc ? They all use different and CUs too ? So some may very well use old models ?

Thank you !

Yes there are threads on that. You should be able to find them using the search function. They will list both the scoring model and CRA(s) pulled. Most CC issuers use some version of Fico 8 or Fico 9.

CapOne pulls scores from all 3 CRAs.

Unless you're preparing for a mortgage, focus on improving your Fico 8 and good things will happen.  Most banks aren't relying solely on any Fico score.  They're applying their own criteria to the information in your credit report.  Trying to strategize around a certain bank using a certain scoring model is a fools errand, IMO.

Thank you but I'm not seeing anything addressing utilization here:

Removal of all collections can boost score 50-80 points if files becomes derog free.

Impact of reducing revolving  utilization is highly dependent on before/after utilization level on each card and in aggregate. Any change in QTY of cards reporting balances can change score as well.

An after aggregate utilization of 3% is in the optimal range. What were the before aggregate utilizations with/without AU accounts included? Also, highest utilization on any card w/wo AUs?

Side note: Utilization carries less weight on dirty scorecards.

Worst case (all cards and aggregate UT maxed out) to best case can be a 100 point shift. The shift may also depend on personal card UT levels vs AU card UT levels.

Please report back with before/after scores and UT levels w/wo AUs included. Also, clarify if scores are derog (CO) free.
