When you aim for 27%, make sure you do that "evenly" on each card, i.e. bring each card down to that level. That puts you below the threshold for both overall utilization and individual card utilization. (Individual card utilization is determined by the card with the highest utilization.)
The next step (if you're able) would be to pay off one of the cards entirely, keeping the information about trailing interest in mind. The last step would be to make the one remaining positive balance as low as possible, but not below $5.
Hi, I agree with paying the cc's down to zero and let one report a small balance.And your score will never reach it highest point with any derogs.
