SO plan is to get an auto loan in the near future. Hopefully March/April maybe sooner! I currently have a 620 score according to my captital one card credit tracker. I was wondering how big of a difference people have seen between myFico scores and tracker scores! MY next question is that if there is a difference(in my favor) I plan to apply for the Chase Amazon card and DiscoverIt cards. I have a very small secured card at the moment and thats it. I am wondering how big of an impact this inquiry could have on myFico score and if others think it would even be worth it for me.

I've personally seen as much as a 60 point difference. And it doesn't just swing one way either. FAKO's are horribly innacurate.
Wow, so do you think I am kind of on the right track with this plan?

Best bet is to sign up and get some FICO's and a full view of your CR's to make a plan.
Mine on Capital One Credit Tracker is right on track with myfico, my score through Cap One is 619 and here varies between 617-638, but it's differenty for everyone.

Yeah, It can be close, or vary significantly.
My TU FICO is currently 683 and my CapOne score is 677.
My TU Fico via Discover an Barclays is now a 685 because of recent inquires. My Cap one score tracker Fako is 631. Remember Cap one is TU Fako.
Mine are very close to each other. Cap One has me at 693 and my real TU FICO is 815.

So do you think the hard inquiry on the credit cards is worth the risk?
