Too bad people can't afford to open up an account with Walmart just for this benefit. Well, I don't want the inquiry.
PSECU has that cake deal for their members to get their EX FICO. I wonder how many new members they got out of that deal.
Why do they get these exclusive deals? I'm not a guy who cries "it's not fair, boo hoo" but talk about a brother-in-law setup. Sheesh!

+1 Totally agree.
My walmart account is actually closed and I was considering re-opening just to get the stupid score. Turned out I still had online account access and am still able access the FICO score. I hear it also works with the walmart Discover card as well....
I wouldn't have wasted an inquiry on it though either. Just got lucky....
PSECU - If anyone has a trick or loophole to get into this CU, and don't mind sharing it in private please message me. I don't mind opening another savings account and I would truly appreciate getting my real EX FICO.
I'm new here and a little bewildered. I've just tried to buy all three but olny got the Equifax score (644) and now am undersdtanding it's probably not the true score? Are true scores usually higher or lower?
It surprised me to have a score in any case. I've lived in Mexico almost continually since the early 1980's and have only a debit card from the US. So on what can they base a score? There's only one item on my Eq report - an argument with Bank of Am a few years ago. Do you get a score for having (almost) no negative history even if there is also no positive history?
Thanks, Steve
Cain, I read above that it's supposed to be hard for out of state (PA) to get into PSECU. That doesn't make so much sense because you could qualify as a graduate of one of the schools or member of an assocation that they list. But what have you heard about it being harder?
You can get your EX monthly for free with US Bank.
edit -- I was mistaken. it's the PLUS score.
To Recap, this would be the optimal for true and not fako scores:
Equifax FICO Score = MyFico
Experian FICO Score = PSECU
Transunion FICO Score (TU04) = Walmart CC holders
