I checked my credit-scores dropped significantly I have excellent credit?

I recently purchased Transunion 3in1 credit scores and reports 6 months prior my fico scores from, Equifax where 780EQI,790T/U,757Exp, currently EQI783,T/U731,EXP707. Transunion and Experian told me that I have to many credit card accounts and that I should close some of them and that I may, ask them to lower my credit limits on some of my cards. I have high credit limits as well on some cards I know FICO, says not to close accounts as it will hurt scores. I would like to know what any one has to say and if they can offer any advise on this matter. I have tried to build a high FICO score over time and now it seems that it has diminished. credit08, welcome to the forums! Smiley Happy

This isn't exactly the right place to post this. This is more appropriately addressed in "Understanding FICO scores".

Your scores are excellent. NO! Do not close any accounts. The comments and hints are merely half-blind suggestions. Some of which are actually counter productive.

You are considered a relatively high FICO score achiever. There's not much in the line of credit out there that you are not elligable for. I would simply disregard that comment.
