If I close a CC, how long does it remain on the AU's report?

Pretty much that. I'm sick of this idiotic $1000 limit Chase Amazon Visa and am going to close it. I had 2 of my kids (18 and 21) as AU on it. They've already had the benefit for 6 years and now have their own cards not to mention scores in the 780's.  Will my closing it immediately remove it for them or will it remain for years like it "should" on my report. Anything not over $10k is getting chopped within a year.

Thanks for any help y'all.

It will only stay on account owner files for up to 10 years. Removed immediately from AU reports.

I can only answer regarding an AMEX account . My daughter was an AU on my dh's account this was closed in 8/2019. It remains on her TU and EXP listed as closed . It came off EQ rather quickly after closing .

EXP 780 EQ 796 TU 810

Oh... wow. Interesting. Didn't realize that. Although thinking about it, I also have them on my Disco and Amex EDP.  I am so sick of that, and the $900 Cabelas (another bought by Cap1 and just want them gone.
