LO told me 20 points per 30 days in the first year?

I had a chat with a LO at my CU this week and she told me that each 30 day late in the last 12 months is costing me 20 points apiece.  Truth or guess?

Guess, and a very, very poor one. Might be time to find a better LO.

Absolutely no way to know - it depends on a lot more than just the late. Someone with an 800 credit score that is 30 days late may lose 60 points, while someone who has a 620 may lose 20. All depends on the file.

I agree with all that has been said. There are just too many variables for anyone to make an accurate prediction about this.
