Hello, it's me... again...
A few months ago, I was able to get a goodwill deletion of my 30 day late for an auto loan back in 2015. The late was deleted from EX and TU, but EQ (of course) seemed to be taking their sweet time. I kept checked Credit Karma just to see if the late was gone and it was finally changed few weeks ago. So I was able to pull all 3 FICO scores through Experian (formerly CCT) today and the late is STILL showing up on my EQ report! How is this possible? Why is it not showing up on Credit Karma's EQ report, but showing up on the other one? I know they're super slow to update most of the time, but doesn't CK pull the same REPORT as the one I'm seeing on EX? Obviously not the same scores, but I always thought the reports were the same.
That stupid late is still holding my EQ score down and hasn't moved over 700. It's frustrating to see my other 2 scores going up, yet this one wants to remain where it's at.

I would request a hard-copy of your real EQ report. There can be variances between what you see on a CMS report verses your real one. The fact that it went away on CK to me suggests that the creditor did send a request to the bureaus (EQ included) otherwise it wouldn't have gone away; that would have been one heck of a coincidence. That being said, if the request has already been sent to EQ, no harm in following up with them directly as the other reply above suggests. You could also reach back out to the creditor and let them know you've seen the update on EX/TU but not EQ yet, so that if they could kindly send another EQ request you'd appreciate it. Step One, though, is to request your real hard-copy EQ report.
Another thing to look at would be the "date last reported" on your EQ report from CK and your EQ report from CCT. There could be a significant length of time between the two (for whatever reason) which could explain the presence of the late payment on one report but not the other.

Thanks! I don't know why EQ always gives me such a hard time. They're the worst CRA for me and always have been. I hate calling people, but I'll do it because another poster suggested, I may have a split file? Although I don't think this is the case, it's not a bad idea to just make sure.
