Late payments removed score drop

Hi I'm just wondering if it's normal to have a score drop as your report gets better? Yesterday I had a credit score Of 665 on exp with 6 lates today I woke up to 3 lates and a 660 score nothing else has changed I'm kinda upset but yet confused.

Your score didn't drop due to lates being removed.  It moved for a different reason.

If you have 6 lates and had 3 removed, depending on the dates/severity of the lates removed verses the ones that still remain it's perfectly possible that your score wouldn't increase at all.  If another non-alertable event caused your score to drop 5 points at the same time, it would give you the false impression that the removal of negative items dropped your score.

What was the severity of the lates that dropped and what are the severity of the lates that remain?
