I have a lien on my title report against one of my properties. The lien is from an insurance co. When i was a minor, i got in a car accident and when i turned 18yrs old the insurance co. put it on my credit report as a judgement. It was there for i guess 10 years, now it is no longer on my credit report, it is now on my title report and a lien against my property.
My father went to court and took full responsibility for the incident due to the fact that i was under age. From 1998 to 2001 my father had his wages garnished.
The balance then and now is still the same $14,500.00.
My question is can i get this of my title and remove the lien from my property?
