List of CC's that don't report limits

Anyone think it would be a good idea to keep a running list of CC's that don't report CL's?

Since utilization has a major impact on a scores and a CC can make someone appear max'd out if it doesn't report a CL, it would be helpful to know which cards to stay away from when trying to better our FICO scores.

An entry should contain the exact name of the card - for example - not just Capital One, but Capital One Platinum, not just AMEX, but AMEX Business Gold etc.etc. You may have to look closely at the card to determine what it is called exactly, as there can be many variations of one card.

Then the type of unreported CL - i.e. "no limit reported", "highest balance used as CL", etc. Before posting "no limit", etc. please make sure that there IS a limit on your particular card.

I'll start off. I'll edit this post as more entries are added to provide a quick reference. If anyone else has any guidelines or feedback, be sure to chime in.

Captial One Platinum - CL reported as highest balance attained on card

AAdvantage Citi Gold Level - no limit reported, regardless of high balance.

AMEX Platinum Charge Card

Chase Visa Signature (The card has a limit of $5500, but the CL is not getting reported)

The High Balance on both these cards are NOT being used as CL, this is hurting my util and may be even Credit Score :x

Clearly this is a super-old thread, so maybe this doesn't apply anymore, but my Capital One Platinum card correctly reports the Credit Limit on my TransUnion report at least (haven't checked EQ or EX since getting this card).

I've been trying to figure out this "largest past balance" thing all day.  I'm new here, so sorry if it's addressed somewhere else.

Two cards on my Eqifax report have a line item for "Largest Past Balance," yet I never used either of these cards and there is no CL listed.  One is American Express for $800 and Discover for $1000.  The accounts aren't flagged and say the account was closed by credit grantor.

Is this reflecting badly on my credit?  If so, what do I do?  I am still trying to learn all of this and when I look at it, I am taking it as there was indeed a balance at one time on each card.
