Re: Long history not always a good thing......?

I couldn't recall the ranges off the top of my head. If that's true then my bad. I don't recall anyone though with a TU98 in here above 830. One place to look is the 760+ thread found in here somewhere. Former mod psychic had pretty much topped the scores back in the day.

Ok I'll try to search for that thread in the search function.

Doesn't TU 98 include charge cards in the utilization? Do you you have any AMEX charge cards that may actually give you a higher util on TU 98 score?

When Amex loved me, my Green wasn't included in util for TU98, but did for Ex and EQ. Some higher limit LOCs and HELOCs are excluded in all 3, but are excluded first in TU98 because the CL ceiling threshold is lower for TU98 than the other two. In other words, you'll see some in here say their LOC is included on EQ but not TU, as an example.

No charge cards or LOC's. TU says my uti is 1% like the other 2.

My report on TU is near perfect in the eyes of the credit world. Heck, my Vantage score today on Transunion's site is 980/990......LOL.

I can't figure it out, but there's just something about me TU98 doesn't like right now.

You can't compare that though. You can't say that if my Vantage is 990, then my TU FICO must be 850 (or whatever the top of the scale might be). Because FICO factors in stuff that Vantage does not and vice-versa.

Of course. FAKO's are meaningless.....just ironic that's all. But although meaningless, it may further point to the evidence that I "might" have higher scores with TU04 and TU08. Man, I wish I could check those......
