I’m trying to get a mortgage and even though I have 20% down my mortgage score does not qualify for a conventional loan. I am 11 points away from a 620 as my middle score. I recently was able to get a closed account to remove a 90 day delinquency and two 30 days. It shot my score up 25 points for my Experian fico 2 and 18 points for transunion score 4. But equifax score 5 only about 12 points. My middle score is currently 609 and it is Equifax. Now, I did send in $3,000 to credit cards which should put me into 48.9% utilization. Currently I’m at 76%. Do you think once my payments are submitted to the credit bureaus I will bump up to 620 on Equifax? I’m desperately trying to get a conventional loan to save the almost $150 a month added onto the mortgage for FHA. I only have 2 months to pull this off! Help!
It's possible but, the biggest bang would be paying off all but 1 major CC to $0.
If you have any collections that can be PFD then work on those too.

That payment on the credit cards should certainly improve your scores significantly; whether it will get you the points you need it's anybody's guess.
If there are any small accounts you can zero out, that may be helpful too.

Thank you. I don’t have any collections. The only other thing I can do is try to get Kohl’s to remove a 60 day past due from a year ago. It’s the only other derogatory thing I have. I heard they are hard to get to remove but I’ll keep trying like the other one. Eventually they did so maybe I can get Kohl’s to as well.
Thank you
Are you able to pay off your revolving debt completely? If so, your scores would more than qualify based on where your current utilization sits.
