My Fico Score Vs Equifax

Hello all..

I'm a little confused on a few things.. When I try to sign up for myFICO it says there is not enough info and will not process..But when I Sign into equifax it gives me a score... SO what am I missing here? I have exactly 6months history this month.

THANKS

Which product are you getting from Equifax?  You can't get a FICO score until you have six months history reported on a tradeline, and at least one update in the last six months.

Equifax sells two scores, one a FICO score (same as found here though that might be changing) and another a proprietary educational model which doesn't have the same restrictions to my knowledge.

Equifax complete is their FAKO aka educational score; there's no comparing that vs. the myFICO one.

From the CMS Thread

Equifax Complete  -  $19.95/mo (Premier Plan)  -  FAKO (Equifax Credit Score)  -  This product gives you monitoring on all 3 and an initial pull for all 3 CRAs along with EQ's FAKO score called an "Equifax Credit Score". The 3-in-one report w/ FAKO scores only comes once per year and each additional report is $29.95 if you'd like to order more reports in the interim. However, you do get daily EQ pulls for the full EQ report and FAKO with your subscription of Equifax Complete Premier. For $3 less per month, EQ also offers a lesser plan which excludes their FAKO, among a couple of others. You can still get the Premier-equivalent plan for $16.95 via here. Lenders likeNFCU, also offer this and other EQ products.
