So for three months straight my fico was 817. Then I applied for a cc and it took a 12 point dive. I checked today and it's back at 817 woohoo!
How long did it take for the 12 points to come back?

The following month
Thanks. That's good to know.

Which Fico score are you referencing, OP?
Prior to opening that new account, how long had it been since you last opened an account?

The fico provided by Disco/Amex/BofA. Last app was in 2013
If you're talking Fico scores from 3 different sources, the chances of them all exactly matching is pretty slim unless they're all the same scoring model, all the same bureau data being used and all pulled at the same time.

Disco could mean TU FICO 8 or it could mean EX FICO 8 if one is talking about their separate free service.
BOA would be TU FICO 8.
Amex could be EX FICO 8 or Vantage 3.0.

Basing it on Disco/BofA. Both must use the same model
Yes, as SJ stated 2 posts up, both of them use the TU Fico 8 model.
