Myfico scoring system change

Hello All,

Im wondering has the myfico site started to use a different Equifax scoring method (Fico8 vs Fico4)??

I ask this because my score recently dropped on this site (3/18/2014) but I applied for a card recently (4/20/2014) and my score shows

what it use to be before the 3/18/2014 drop..

Yes they have, you can still purchase your 04 score from Equifax be sure to look for the Fico version as they also sell a fako.

This site has recently shifted from EQ 04 to EQ 08.

If a different scoring model is applied to the same report, the score may go up or down.

It's hard to say whether this applies to your situation, without getting more details.

A change in scoring models can change your score, but so can updates to your report.
