New Amazon card reported, zero score change?

Good Morning,

Just got an alert that my new Amazon store card has reported. The alert also said that my score hasn't changed. My util is below 3% across the board and with the new Amazon card reporting I still have less that 50% accounts reporting a balance. I was bracing for the impact on my score from the new account but nothing happened. Can this be or is there a lag time?

Re: New Amazon card reported, zero score change?

You did good.  Any score impact for the account reporting would show up without a time lag.

As you've indicated, Your utilization is good - so you wouldn't anticipate a score issue there.

And, Your number of accounts reporting is good - so you wouldn't anticipate a score issue there either.

It appears that Your AAofA probably remained the same (or at least it stayed in the same bucket, if not the same "rounded down to a full year" age) - you can always do the math to confirm that (I think it's good to do the math before app'ing just in case you're creating a change with a new account).

Congrats dude!  Nicely done!

You took two hits with the new card,  A new inq, and a drop in your AAoA.

You took a boost in adding additional CL to your % util calculation.

Maybe they were a wash.  None appear to be major factors.

I also received a SW alert today.  My util dropped to 0%.  I wanted to see what would happen,  but nothing changed for me either.  Score remains unchanged.

For me, # cards reporting a balance seems to have a much bigger effect than the balances.

Same here. I had an extra card report a balance due to reporting dates overlapping and it dinged my score 4 points. Keeping my balances under 10% as opposed to say 20% only gives me about 2 points. But then of course if you are close to realizing a goal, every point counts.
