On another forum someone said that a CSR at MyFICO told him that MyFICO has started using a new scoring model for Equifax. I spoked to a CSR who confirmed that they recently started using a new scoring model for Equifax. He could not, however, tell me what scoring model they are now using. Does anyone have any information?
Today, my Equifax FICO score from DCU is different than the current Equifax score from myfico for the first time.
DCU - 699
myfico - 712
What is DCU?

My fiance had a SW alert this morning as well and its a little higher than expected.
Why can't they tell us which model it is? I don't like the secrets when it comes to these FICOs.
Whatever model it is, it definitely is working to my advantage. Mine was 764 last month, now at 798. No real changes in data reported that would cause a 24 point increase.
On the other board, it is being reported as Fico 08.

what other board is this being discussed on? I'd like to follow it too. What I DID like about EQ here is that it was the same model that mortgage lenders typically pull. If that's not the case now, I could care less if Im purchasing a model that simply gives me a higher score. Its as useless to me as the myfico TU now.
I agree. It is being discussed on another board in the credit forum in the thread titled EQ Score dropped 70 points thru myfico.
I think this is causing the issue I am seeing. I have a 616 on Equifax score watch but a 686 here on MyFico. The records were pulled the same day. It seems crazy that they are so different.
