I was fortunate enough to have a huge (my biggest) collection removed from my credit report that was paid several months ago ($3900). I sent a GW and they agreed to just completely remove it altogether from my credit report (Experian). I just checked my Experian report and it was in fact removed, but there was NO change in my score at all? Is this normal?

Congratulations on the deletion. If there are other derogatory items still in your file then one item being deleted could result in little or no movement. Are there other negatives remaining?

i was going to say the same thing......even if your FAKO score changes, it doesn't mean your FICO did. or that it even changed in the same direction!
