No score change?

I had a collections fall off my report in May that I had no idea was removed until I just looked. I got no score jump from it. Anyone know why this may have happened? My last judgement that fell off I received 38 points apiece on two reports, and 35 on another. I was looking forward to this falling off in November of this year and getting a nice boost, but now that it's gone and nothing changed for the better I'm at a lost for words. This credit game is just completely wayward.

Re: No score change?

Do you have any remaining collections?  Was the collection that came off paid with a $0 balance?  If not, what was the amount of the collection?  I had a charge off removed when I first started building credit and gained 30 or so points because there was a $3k balance associated with it. This balance was affecting utilization on top of it being reported as a bad account.  I also had a small medical collection removed that didn't change my score any.  The score didn't change because I still have one medical collection for $150 sitting there to fall off in 9 months.

There is a huge gap in my scores.  TU removed the $150 collection when I disputed it.  EX and EQ didn't.  I gained 56 points for that last collection.  I have seen a range of 30-70, depending on the type and balance when the last collection comes off.  I do agree the scoring system has its quirks that do not make sense.
