Not Dazed, but certainly Confused!!

I am a bit confused about my FICO credit report scores.  I just recently had a bunch of old baddies fall off my credit report.  It was just things I had paid off and caught up on years ago, but were still considered deragatory.  Anyway, they are gone.  Yay.  I first found out when I checked out my Equifax.com.  I saw that all my potential negatives (like @8 or 9) were gone and that my Equifax FICO went up from 638 to 689.  Quite a jump and deservedly so.  I assumed that my Transunion score would do the same, so I logged on to Myfico.com to check out my Transunion score.  In fact, I hadn't checked it in a couple of months.  I have the Quarterly report for Transunion on Myfico.com.  Anyway, my most recent report and score was in the middle of July.  It had the negative stuff off and the report appeared accurate, but the score showed no adjustment and I stayed at like a 636.  That makes absolutely zero sense!!!!!  The report appeared accurate and up to date just as the Equifax was.  Only difference is my Equifax score went from a 638 to a 689.  **bleep**!!  Trying to figure out credit scores genuinely pisses me off sometimes.  Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Re: Not Dazed, but certainly Confused!!

What was the change in AAoA on TU? I've lost points when removing old COs, if they were among my oldest accounts or these oldest with respect to revolving, installment, etc. Wondering if maybe the positive impact of less baddies (OCs only) was wiped out by the loss in history?

Did any OCs report a "dispute" comment? If so, FICO ignores the baddie aspects with the dispute comment showing and you wouldn't see any change due to the baddie alone.

I'm not exactly sure what the change in AAofA was, but it was the exact same accounts that fell off of my Equifax and that report went up nearly 50 points.  They were mostly aged accounts, but they also were definitely considered deragatory and now I have no deragatory accounts.  My understanding is that should equal positive points.  Maybe its a bucket issue.  Who the heck knows.
