Re: Odd Score Behavior

@Anonymous

Overall good points. Question: Is this an actual scoring example or only for illustrative purposes?

That's a real world example, as reported by many forum members here where they've seen a scoring penalty (say, 5-10 points) in going to 33%+ cards with reported balances on EQ, but don't see a similar penalty until going to 50%+ on EX/TU.  I'm not sure I've ever tested it personally, but since I've recently been able to get my score to where I wanted it with AZEO in place, I was going to slowly allow 1 additional card to report (AZE2, AZE3) and grab credit score pulls along the way to see how my profile reacts all the way to 100% of cards with reported balances.  If I do this test in the upcoming 1-2 months I'll definitely start a thread with the data points and it would be interesting to see the variance between EX/TU vs EQ when considering those percentages.

Re: Odd Score Behavior

Hi - To clarify, my reports are identical in every fashion EXCEPT TU is reporting collections (1 to 2 years old) and EQ is not. In other words, my TU score should be lower all things else being equal...I am stumped. I checked FICO 8 and Vantage for both. Compared both side by side. Prior to the increase in my Utilization, EQ was always 20 to 50pts higher because it had no collections

Re: Odd Score Behavior

What is the dollar value of each collection?
