Did you see the 3 years AAoA listed on your FICO report?
My AAoA should be 4 years today on TU as well. I am assuming that TU count the monthly age from the first date of the month and not the date the account was opened.
I know well that EX and EQ normally set account open date as the first day of the month, but TU will normally indicate the actual date the account was opened.
llecs,
Please can you check your TU files and confirm if your AAoA will be 3 years assuming the age of the account is computed from the date your accounts were opened?
Your feedback will be appreciated.

Yep. TU FICO from 6/29 said "2 years" for the AAoA and the TU FICO from 7/1 said "3 years". This info was ranked as the #3 neg. item on DW's TU report on page 2.
FICO only reads the month and year the account was opened, so technically, all of your accounts are one month older today. The day it was opened does not matter.
Thanks. Since you didn't get a boost from 2- 3 yrs AAoA, I'm not sure if I can get any for 3 - 4 yrs transition. Does anyone knows how the buckets for AAoA is subdivided?
llec,
A good news. I got the silly CA removed from my account on EX and EQ and I'm still waiting for TU to update. As you mentioned in this thread
http://ficoforums.myfico.com/fico/board/message?board.id=rebuildingcredit&message.id=55692#M55692
It was a tall order but the help from the forum and my persistence prevail. The truth was finally got revealed and the hosing caretaker that took my account to collection was fired.
My EQ went from 633 to 715 on June 28, 2009. I will post TU as soon as my score updates. I should be in the 730-750 range if not for my high utility of 18%. Getting it down to about 5% should give me some nice boost.
Thank you all.
Did you have any other changes, such as UT or account anniversary? I was originally at 4 years AAoA, but dropped to 3 years after my application spree last March.
The closed account removal on EQ might be the result of daily pull from CR monitoring service like CCT, TC etc.
In case of TU, I leant the inquiries are the ones that falls like flakes, but for EQ, they fixed the problem for inquiries just for the system to turn around and delete old closed accts when you have too many soft inq.
