Tonyjones; I don't have any; never had any.
I don't know when FICO started, but my credit history spans 20+ years. My folks taught me well--always pay your bills on time.
How old are you if you don't mind me asking.
@tonyjones wrote:Any high achievers here with scores above 760 with derogs? Can you post what kind and how many if so. Thanks!!
My TU score, showing 1 30 day late from Feb 2012, is at 780. My EXP score has 2 30 day lates, so it's lower, 752. EQ still shows 2 collections as well as 2 30 day lates, so much lower at 684.

The discrpencies between the three CRA is insane.
I agree with your responses, Tonyjones and Paramed3, to ABC321. That is outlandish considering some of the penalties FICO lays on other people's scores. Methinks there's something rotten in Denmark - or in MyFico. As Marine Vet might say, maybe they were having a good day.

What you need to do is tell us the rest of us how in the world do you have scores like that with so many later or derogs? Mine is perfect payment history no derogatory and not even close to your numbers
I don't know what to say to that; looks like your scores are higher than mine across the board---and for good reason, if you have no derogs. Am I reading something wrong in your siggy?
I do understand that one 30 day late will count for very little after 3-4 years of ontime payment. Even collections will lose their impact after a few years, but as you can see, where I still have collections my score isn't all that high. Other info: I only have 3 cards, oldest card is almost 11 years old, AAofA 5 years. Utilization: 1%. I use all the cards every month but pay off all but one before the statement cuts, then leave a small amount on that one, $10-$20.
Yes, the variety of scores is kind of strange, but it also makes sense given that each report right now is showing something different. Once my last two collections fall off in July, they should be more similar. I also anticipate all the scores will drop a bit, at least temporarily, when I add on new cards later this year. Or if I need to carry a balance on any of the cards, of course the scores will go down.
I think you CAN hit relatively high scores with 30 day lates, once you've been making payments on time for awhile, and by keeping your AAoA high and your utilization low. I've read that the 60 and 90 day lates are much tougher on your scores.

My TU is 763 with one 30 day from 2010, one paid judgement (state tax lien) from 2011, and one paid $50 collection from Verizon in 2013. AAOA is about seven years, 11 inquiries, about 15 open CC, a mortgage, and a car loan. Util zero - 1%.

That gives me hope then, thanks!
EX 762, TU and EQ 753, can't figure out how both are the same, maybe it's a conspiracy!
Morongo and Tonyjones:
Just an observation -- perhaps your scores are 'odd' because of their sources? Are you reporting them from MyFico, or other sources such as retailers or other credit card companies? Ordering from Fico is not free, unlike some credit card companies, but many loan and credit companies use Fico scores when checking client scores. The three Fico scores (EQ, EX, and TU) do not always report the same numbers, but they are often fairly close. Although one year I had a 49 point difference between two scores; but someone at Fico must have been hitting the bottle that day.
