Congrats, TSU:
Good to see that you're staying in the 800s, temporarily anyway. Sometimes slips like late payments or charges can 'sneak' up on our scores. Your new 850 says otherwise.
Stay the course.
Just found this site and joined today. Historically, I've only monitored my score when making major purchases in the past; home car etc. It got a little more "in my face" when Discover began including it with the card. It seems to move 10-20 points for what seems no apparent reason. I’m sure I’ll learn more about that reading these forums. Anyway, after looking around, I took the trial at CCT and pulled the numbers. Perhaps I'll try MF when it's time for the next home or car to get all of the score variants. In the meanwhile, I guess I'm on the hunt for the elusive 3x850.
Be forewarned....once you get all scores above 800, you do not recieve a gold watch, certificate, or anything else...nada...nothing....zilch!!!!!

Only a well deserved sense of accomplishment!
Five years ago, I had baddies. Paid them all off because it's the right thing to do. I racked up the charges, I need to pay them.
Just last year was the first time I applied for a credit card. My first ones were Chase Feedom, Chase Disney and American Express Blue Preferred. I racked up a bunch of charges by paying my bills and some regular monthly expenses. Came up to about 5,000.00, I paid them all off in one swoop. Score went up to 720. I did it again recently. We needed new furnitures for the house, purchase that through my credit card. Then use them to pay my bills, paid it all off in one swoop and score is at 768 as of today.
Just a few years ago my scores were around 630. Barely moving because I had some baddies. Those fell off, I applied for credit cards and here I am. This is the highest score I've ever reached. I've made horrible decisions in the past 15 years and now I don't carry any balance on my cards whatsoever and I don't go on spending sprees. I save. I invest and I give. I feel happy and very responsible.
Just a word of encouragement to many, it's never too late to start again. As long as you do what is right (pay bills, pay off your debts, etc) and learn from your mistakes.

If you post in the Garden Club that you hit all 800s, you'll get kudos. Granted, you don't get anything material, but it's something, right? Not to mention the real-world benefit of getting the best rates and terms on most things, and that's something too!
Only 793 from EX. Still trying to get at least 840. Give me a little more time.
