How do you get a Great in terms of outstanding debt?
The last time I pulled my scores, mid-Feb before Experian disappeared, I had 4% overall util on my credit cards, though only 2 had balances, the balance on the 1 was at individual 32%util. I also had a student loan for over $12K, and a little over $10K on my sole car loan. At this point I was told my outstanding debt was "Very Good"
Now that my credit card debt is gone, and I am only allowing a small amount ot report on one CC each month, over 0, but way less than 10%. Will I now have a Great on outstanding debt? Does that line in what's helping your score only refer to CC's? Or do my two installment loans figure into that as well, and if they do how do they decide how good your outstanding debt is?
I'm not sure if I'll be pulling in March or not, but the next time my auto loan reports it should be at just about $5K. The student loan will still be just over $12K.
I have either 0% CC util or 1% CC util and both show Very Good so my auto loan and/or mortage are keeping me from being Excellent.
