Paid Charge-Off Still showing as Bad Debt/In Collections

I had an HSBC charge charge card that went into collections.  I was contacted by NCO collections and was told that they purchased my debt from HSBC.  They worked out a payment plan for me to pay off the debt but HSBC still shows this account as Bad Debt/In Collections with no notice that this account was settled in full as I was told by NCO.  I've contacted HSBC and they told me they have nothing to do with what's on my credit report.  I've disputed the information but only a notice stating that it was disputed was added to this account with no mention that it was paid.

How can i get the CRA to show that this account was paid and should reflect that information rather than stating that it is a bad debt/in collections.  Thank you.

A CRA has a legal obligation ro investigate disputes.
Section 611 of the FCRA:

§ 611. Procedure in case of disputed accuracy [15 U.S.C. § 1681i]

(a) Reinvestigations of disputed information.

(1) Reinvestigation required.

(A) In general. If the completeness or accuracy of any item of information

contained in a consumer's file at a consumer reporting agency is disputed by

the consumer and the consumer notifies the agency directly of such dispute, the

agency shall reinvestigate free of charge and record the current status of the

disputed information, or delete the item from the file in accordance with

paragraph (5), before the end of the 30-day period beginning on the date on

which the agency receives the notice of the dispute from the consumer.
