I'm hoping you gurus can help me with this. I have 2 collection items which show as PAID on my CR, but are still considered derogatory items. How can I remove them from my CR?

As you have already paid, about the only recourse I know is to write GoodWill Letters...letters asking in good faith to delete the baddies. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. They are under no obligation to remove them, if the debt was valid.
Use the search box and type in "GW Letters" and "Goodwill Letter", for some great examples.
