I just bit the bullet and paid the 14.95 for my EQ score. I'm pretty stoked to find it is 692, my highest score. (EX is 673 and TU hasn't updated but as of last month is 650.) My new loan isn't reporting yet.
That brings me to my question. Where the breakdown of what is negatively affecting my score is lack of installment account, age of accounts, inquiries, and collection account. However there is no collection account listed anywhere on the EQ report, and when I clicked 'collection accounts' it says 0. I know the collection exists (it is on my TU and EX), so why wouldn't it show on my EQ but still be affecting my score?
Any ideas? Thank you.
Is the collection paid?
The only true FICO score from Equifax products is Score Watch. All the others are Vantage scores. That might be what your seeing.
True FICO:

All other (Vantage)

Vantage doesnt list closed accounts only open accounts. Vantage doesnt show paid collections. Reports from here are FICO and they will show closed accounts and collections.
Yes, I used the ScoreWatch link posted here in the forum. The collection isn't paid. It's really old. It's supposed to fall off in March. I hope so.
Reason I said Vantage it doesnt show paid collections after reading this:
"However there is no collection account listed anywhere on the EQ report, and when I clicked 'collection accounts' it says 0. I know the collection exists (it is on my TU and EX), so why wouldn't it show on my EQ but still be affecting my score?"
Try pulling you real EQ report from annual credit reports:

If it isnt there then something else is going on outside of the collection.
