No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
So I just purchased my first report form TransUnion.
(A bit worried, because EQ and EX could not provide me with one via the internet...)
Either way TU I'm at 680
And, after reading the report i was told i do not have enough "Retail Revolving Account"
What is this?!
Even if.. I will hold back on applying for any because one of my points were TOO MANY INQUIRIES.
I'm afraid of applying and getting denied.
So heres a Glance
------------------------
1) Too Few accounts ( Scared to apply for more due to the Hard Pulls and its negative effects)
2) Credit Too Young
3) No Reail Revolving Accounts
3) Too Many inquiries
A store card such as Target, Kohl's, Victoria Secret. Cards you can't use anywhere except the store you got them from. Fico likes to see a 'good mix' of credit. That would be at least one account in each catagory. Mortgage, auto and/or installment loan, revolving cc, and a retail store cc.
Try the "SHOPPING CART TRICK" . This way they are sp's.

You can search these forums for a wealth of info re: the shopping cart trick.
Honestly. Stop applying for things. Obvious you have just started this journey. The best would be to get secured card for 6 months. Let it report. Then you will be on your way. Either local credit union. Bank of America. Or capitL one. They only need 49 dollars to get you started. Shopping cRt May work if you got more than tu score. As comenity bank does it on e0perian Good luck
