Finally pulled my TU score from MyFICO and it showed by revolving UTI at 18% - vs 13% on the EQ report. I checked the account balances and the difference is minimal. It looks like TU is not picking up all of my CL's - although in the account details all of the CLs are the same in both reports. By may calculations it is missing about $42K in CL. Does anyone else have this issue? One idea is the my BOA VISA doesn't report a limit - EQ takes the high balance as the limit, maybe TU does not. Also I have a LOC at my CU - maybe TU treats that differently as well. Any help would be appreciated.
This version of TU FICO (TU98) does treat util a bit differently than the EQ version (Beacon 5.0). Assuming nothing is different in the way of balances and you didn't get a surprise CLI somewhere, know that charge cards like Amex are treated differently. Your EQ FICO ignores the balance on these cards, but your TU FICO (TU98) will factor in the balance and high balance into util. LOCs and HELOCs are treated differently too, in some situations. After a certain threshold, your EQ and TU FICO scores will ignore the balance and CL. But that threshold varies across FICO versions and is a mystery on the exact limit (beyond $20k for sure). Finally, NPSL CCs, like WorldPoints or Signature CCs are treated a bit differently, but I'll reserve those details for others.
ETA...and make sure each CC is updating....after a while FICO will ignore the balance and CL if it isn't updating after several months. And look for dispute comments too as those will impact util.
Finally, the newer TU FICO versions (TU04 and up) will treat these items differently, and more on part with EQ.

Thanks for the response. I will review the accounts again to make sure they are correct and not missing anything. Good to hear that the newer TU FICOs (TU04 and up) will be more in line with EQ - I am hoping to refi the mortgage in the coming 30-60 days and want to ensure the scores look good.
