How close is the explanatory text on myFICO to this one?

Yes, it's a universal one, it seems:
10 | Proportion of balances to credit limits on bank/national revolving or other revolving accounts is too high | Your FICO® Score evaluates your balances in relation to available credit on revolving credit card or other revolving accounts. The extent of your credit usage is one of the most important factors to your FICO® Score. In your case, this proportion of balances to credit limits is too high on these accounts. |
Experian will have it as:
10 | Ratio of balances to credit limits on bank revolving or other revolving accounts is too high | Your FICO® Score evaluates your balances in relation to available credit on revolving credit card or other revolving accounts. In your case, this proportion of balances to credit limits is too high on these accounts. |

I already had all the code numbers, short description, and official explanatory text since last year.
What I never had was a way to easily match the myFICO report 'friendly text' to the exact code in my list. Even though this was pretty easy to do after I clicked the MF reason statement and read the MF explanatory text. They aren't that far off usually, but some aren't so clear.
Generally, the MF explanatory text on the Report tab gives away which code/official-description it goes with in my score factors thread.
iv's extension makes it so much easier for everyone.

And Cassie I would be careful to conclude that a code is on other industry options just because it’s on one bureau’s.
Oh yes, I am! That is why I love this discovery by iv so much - because now we get to see the actual code number on those industry options.
I'm reluctant to copy my existing code tables for EQ/TU/EX 8 and 5-4-2 to new industry option tables (with missing additional codes) because I can't really 'prove' that they all exist there yet. I mean, I am 99% sure they will be mostly duplicated across something like TU 8, TU AUTO 8, and TU Bankcard 8, but now people can just use iv's extension and let us know for sure that they saw it.
I'm definitely taking a conservative approach.

@Anonymous I have no doubt that the reason codes from a version also exist on its industry options at the same bureau. I'm just not so sure that it crosses bureaus.
But you are correct that until we have confirmation, everything is suspect. But I'm pretty sure the industry options add a scorecard and add a subset of Reason Codes/Statements to the existing set for that version at that bureau. But that's just supposition.

The Reason 13 explanatory text in MF is:
The presence of missed or late payments or derogatory indicators on a credit report, including the number of missed payments, how late they were and how recently they occurred, are correlated with future credit risk.
Generally speaking, people who consistently pay their bills on time are less risky compared to people with recently missed payments.
As missed payments age, they have less impact on a FICO® Score.

Unfortunately, I temporarily canceled my myFICO Premier plan 6 months ago in December 2020. When I called to cancel the cancel I was informed that it couldn't be stopped (?!) and I'd have to resubscribe on Jan 11.
That erased all my past reports from history!
I never skipped a beat in credit monitoring with myFICO, and I have the downloadable 3Bs going back to Dec 2018 (when my credit file was 1yr old at all 3 CRAs), but those PDFs don't have the codes either. (Another thing that needs improvement.)
Funny...all the monitoring alerts are still there starting from January 2019, the month that my first 2 credit cards ever hit my file.
I wonder... are the reports gone, or just unlinked from your Past Reports list?
Do your PDF copies have the full rptid= string visible as a page footer? (The GUID used to ID each report?)
If so, does manually going to secure.myfico.com/report/fico_3_report_view/credit_data?rptid=GUID still work to pull the old reports up?

Not sure if you want this info, but I have seen this on EQ5, EQ AU5 and EQ BC5.
Perfect, thank you!
That's exactly what we need - screenshot or copy/paste of the Code # and Score Factor text, along with the Score Versions and CRAs that it appears on.

Perfect. Yes, it's on all three - I I had a copy/paste error on the list for the slightly-different #10 text for EX.
