Hi everyone.
In my 3-week journey to clean up my credit, I have been concentrating on paying down my CC balances and cleaning up three fairly new collection accounts. From what I have read, these will have the most short term and dramatic impact on my FICO scores. I am about to start tackling some of the IIB accounts from a Chapter 7 that was discharged in 9/2009 including a Countrywide/Bank of America mortgage, a Chase auto loan, a LOC from a credit union, and a couple of credit cards. There are reporting innacuracies with most of these accounts. Question: Does cleaning up IIB TL's have any significant impact on the actual FICO score?
Thanks!
