Same info/Different scores

Hello all,

Can someone please explain why I have the same info reporting on each CB,yet the scores are different?  FICO TU is 757,EQ is 735 and FAKO EX is 725. The info is exactly the same on all 3. No lates,no baddies on any of them. Is this the norm?

Thanks!

Re: Same info/Different scores

TU, EQ, and EX all use slightly different FICO scoring formulae, so it is the rule, not the exception, that the scores will differ even with identical information at all 3 credit bureaus.

Re: Same info/Different scores

The published FICO score ranges of 300 to 850 seems to not be the actual FICO score range.

In a recent The Federal lawsuit filed by FICO against Experian, TransUnion and VantageScore Solutions  “Fair Isaac argues that the term 300-850 is not the “actual scoring range for any of [Fair Isaac's] classic FICO credit scores. The actual scoring range for the first FICO score developed for Trans Union is 397-871, for Experian is 368-839, and for Equifax is 407-829. Every version of these scores has a different range-none of which is 300-850.”

There you have it.
