I just opened 3 new CC accounts this past month with as many inquiries dropping my score about +/- 30 pts. Anyone know roughly how long it takes to rebound from the new account and inquiry damage? A few months, 6, 12, more?

According to my financial analyst at my credit union, generally (and this is in very broad terms), one will see about a 10 point drop per new trade line (5 for the INQ/5 for the new TL), but will gain 15 points back further down the road for a net of 5 points per new TL. His advice to me at the time was to wait 6 months to see what the rebound is, and that's generally correct. As with anything credit related, YMMV!
I like Thom's answer, but I couldn't put a point number on it. Getting new TLs will lower your score initially, but it is a necessary evil. Those new TLs will age and thicken your CR making it healthier and have the ability for your scores to grow.
