Score differences

I’m sure this has probably been asked but I wanted to explain my situation and see what you all say about it.

I’ve been on a rebuilding journey. I have went from 400s to 597ex & 588tu.

My confusion is with my Equifax score. I was at 530 when I put in a dispute. It went down to 470. I do understand that the things being disputed aren’t calculated in the score while the dispute is happening. The dispute has been finished for quite sometime but my score didn’t change. NOTHING changed. Nothing is negative is different on my report. I monitor is closely. I opened up a capital one secured card for 1000 and was expecting it to improve like the others but it didn’t.

I am a member of all three bureaus as well as CreditKarma. The scores for CreditKarma say Equifax is 594 and transunion as 588. The TU are accurate, they are the same in CK and TU. Also, when I get all three scores from TU or Ex it shows Equifax as being comparable with Ck and the others, 580s.

Any ideas what could be the reason that there is such a huge difference or why after the dispute it never went back up to the 5s?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Score differences

The only scores out of your list, Ex scores are the only FICO scores and the only ones you should be concerned with, the rest are either VantageScore 3.0 or CRA's own internal scores that aren't used by most lenders. If you have pulled Experian's 3 bureau FICO scores and the EQ score looks in line with others, you're fine.
