Score hasn't moved in 3 months

Let me start with the fact I'm using a fako (creditkarma). Since my C7 discharge Feb. 2010, I've opened 3 cc accounts. 2 in April 2010 and 1 in May 2010, I have a total of 4 reported inquiries, and went through my credit reports to make sure everything is correct and updated with discharges etc....  I've been checking my score(641) monthly for the past 3 months and it hasn't changed, I'm trying to figure out if thats normal??? My utilization changes from month to month with my highest back in Aug. w/26% but I'm now down to 8% and still no changes, have not been late since BK and use cards monthly.... Thanks for any insight!!!

No telling. We don't know how the FAKO formula works, so we don't know why scores change, don't change, and change in opposite directions from FICO's.

Maybe the lowered utilization was cancelled out by the effect of new accounts opening? --but again, no telling with FAKO's.

Re: Score hasn't moved in 3 months

I log on to CK because they have proven IME to have very accurate account information but my "credit score" there hasn't changed in over a year.

Don't rely on them for scoring.

From a BK years ago to:
EX - 9/09 pulled by lender 802
EQ - 7/06-663, 3/10-800
TU - 8/10-772
You can do the same thing with hard work

New inquiries are, from what I have seen, weighted more heavily for those in the lower scoring buckets.  The new accounts have also lowered your avg age of accounts.

YOu receint activity has created negative FICO factors that appear to be offsetting your improvement in lowering your % util.

Having said that, it appears that these activitie,s while not now showing scorng benefits, were good steps for future building. Three new accountys with a recent BKis impressive!

I would cool application for new credit, and not expect significant score increases within the next year.
