Re: Score not capped at 790 with lates...

If they are slated to fall off in December, I doubt there are any other aging-related thresholds between now and then related to those negatives.  If your score were [able] to further improve, I think you'd have to look at other factors that aren't optimized at this point.

Re: Score not capped at 790 with lates...

Didn't quite make it to 800 with two 60 day lates though 798 is pretty darn close.  The two lates finally fell off my Experian report and my score jumped from 798 to 829 so a bump up of 31 points.  No more negatives listed on this account.  My TU lates fell off last month and that score bumped from 760 to 811.  No more negatives on TU either.  Amazingly, the lates also fell off my Equifax report last month and my score there improved to 743.  Equifax, however, is still reporting two BOA credit cards that initially went delinquent in 2011.  It was never charged off as I set up a payment plan.  The accounts were closed at my request in 2012.  I finally brought the accounts current in mid-2014 and fully paid them off in early 2015.  I have a series of 120 day lates for this entire period still showing up on my Equifax report.  I do not dispute that I owed the money.  I owed BOA several thousands of dollars across the two cards.  These accounts are reported as in good standing by Experian...the dates where there were lates are listed as either non-report or current.  They have a policy of dropping a series of lates when the first late hits 7 years.  The same with TU.  Once the first set of lates hit the 7 year mark, TU completely deleted the tradelines from my report which is why my Experian score is higher than my TU score...longer AAoA.  But Equifax is just dropping them month by month.  At this point, it feels like I am being punished for actually setting up a payment plan instead of just letting the accounts charge off.  Any charge offs and collection accounts would already have been gone from any credit report as of 2018 since the DoFD was in 2011 but Equifax seems insistent on punishing me for actually not letting the account charge off by posting the old lates until mid-2021 which is seven years after the account was finally brought current.Smiley Frustrated
