I posted a thread about 73 points lost with TU.
I'm not sure exactly the causes in play.
I was an AU on my brothers account that reported 30 day late but it had reported that way for a couple months before without dropping.
However utilization went up slightly from higher balance reporting. Something I didn't notice before until I looked again after my posts was that my Walmart card went from $3,000 CL to $1,524 CL would also added to my overall utilization amount (as did no longer having my Bros CL). I only used the card once since opening & been over a year so I understand CL decrease, though I don't like it.
Anyway my TU dropped to 685 & EQ to 667! I was devastated. I disputed the AU account on both & paid my utilization down some (14% to 9%).
My scores rebounded. TU 764 & EQ 758 ☺
I didn't think such little differences would matter but I guess Fico does think so.
I'm really happy & wanted to share. Also wanted to say to other people with the score drops even if it is a small change in utilization or limits it can make a difference. Lower utilization will then see a good increase just like it saw a big drop in score.
EQ 773 * EX 786 * TU 797
