Scores

What is the difference between the FICO score and the scores that I can get from Experian, Transunion and equifax?

Re: Scores

The scores provided with a Transunion and Equifax subscription are considered FAKO scores, they really mean nothing as the majority of lenders do not use them. The score that you get with an Experian subscription is a true FICO score. FICO scores are the important scores as that is what most lenders use.

Equifax Scorewatch is a Beacon 5.0 FICO.

They do offer an educational score too though, have to be careful when buying the Equifax product to get the good stuff (it's undoubtly more expensive too heh).
