Neither matter as far as your score is concerned. You will find all three reporting agencies use slightly different language. Closed by consumer is better than closed by credit grantor under manual review but most people don't have problems either way. You can get an account closed for non use as well as other more sinister reasons. Don't sweat those alerts. Message Edited by smallfry on 09-07-2007 09:23 PM
caliking wrote: Hi, today I received the following 2 messages from scorewatch, my score remains unchanged. The alerts were about 2 accts I've had in the past with FMCC Ford Motor Credit Corp. It seems FMCC has reworded how they are reporting me. Which wording is better? Instead of saying Closed paid account zero balance it says closed at consumer's request on both as well as on the 2nd item it gives the amount of the loan and before it said unknown. I'm all confused now. HELP! Message Edited by caliking on 09-07-2007 05:44 PM
