After 4 years, a number of good bank cards, going from $1,500-$2,000 in total limits to $50K, and having 9 out of 10 negatives fall off, my score has gone up a whopping 80 points.
I just found that my EX went down 29 points, to mid-600s. Reasons stated are:
"Number of accounts with balances decreased by one."
"Your revolving debt decreased by $8."
"Your total balance on all accounts decreased."
I've scanned my Annual Credit Report and found nothing hidden and nothing new has reported. I have that one very old CA that's due to fall off in March, but I can't imagine that's the reason for the score drop, being really old and that it's been sitting there all along. I can't imagine my score is going to go up very much when that one item falls off anyway. Sorry to be so negative. I'm just so discouraged.

Nothing wrong with 80 point gain. Need to post your accounts with: Creditor/Credit Line/Balance.
More than half your accounts reporting is a hit with FICO and util %'s also considered. Lets see whats up. Then we can help. Seems like almost all your accounts are reporting.
@FireMedic1 Thanks for taking a look. I thought I'd left a small balance on one of the cards, but looks like I didn't. I had a Chase card that I closed due to combining limits with my Chase Visa. Hope this helps.
Amex: $2k - Bal. 0
Best Buy: $6k - Bal. 0
Neiman Marcus: $3k - Bal. 0
Discover: $7.4k - Bal. 0
Chase Visa: $15.5k - Bal. 0
PenFed: $3.5k - Bal. 0
CU MasterCard: $5k - Bal. 0
Amazon: $6k - Bal. 0
Loan: $500 - Bal. $200
CA: $700
The last derogatory could be worth about 100 points by itself depending on profile. What is it?

Yeah no balance on any revolvers can be a ding around that size.
9/10 negatives off is huge, but that 10th will probably be more than the 80 points haha. Keep working it!

Whats the one baddies left? It might be a PFD CA. That is if its a collecton that has a balance. If its paid. You can ask for EE with TU now. EX in Jan. Leave EQ as is. They are a bit difficult. Plus they only do it 1 month early. Just wait out 4 weeks.

Those EX alerts do not necessarily have anything to do with the score change.

@Brian_Earl_Spilner @SouthJamaica
The remaining CA is an unpaid medical from spring of 2015 that I've disputed but is still sticking around.
Thanks for the encouragement and input, everyone. I've seen people with MUCH worse profiles than mine in the 700s and it's really frustrating. Not that I'm not happy for them because I am! I just don't see why I'm stuck in the 600s after so much effort. Oh well, whining isn't going to get me anywhere. Thanks for listening.
My EQ also dropped from 691 to 667. I'm almost positive my new PenFed card started reporting last month, but maybe not, and that's the culprit.
Although I know the scoring factors listed aren't always reliable, for what it's worth, EQ states "Length of time accounts have been established" (my already short AAoA took a hit) and "No recent revolving balances." They really don't like those zero balances. 🤷
I've decided not to sweat it anymore. I cancelled my EQ and will just keep the free EX and TU scores I get with Amex and Discover. Whatever happens, happens. After I start gardening in earnest, I'll be doing everything right, so the scores will HAVE to move up. Eventually.

@kritThe EQ monitoring score is Vantage on 3 of their products. There lies the problem. Take a peek and you'll see its all vantage except Score Watch from EQ which gives FICO 8.
