Student loan weirdness

Here's a bit of a weird question. I had student loan debt that was within my power to pay off in one lump sum, although that large check would've been a pretty heft one to write so I chose to just keep paying it monthly.  Not sure if that was the wisest decision but whatever, it is in the past.

I'm a forgetful person and realized one day (January 14 of this year) that I hadn't paid the bill, called the student loan department of US Ed in a panic and they told me they had just reported the 61-day lateness the previous day. NOOOOO! I'd been working so hard on paying bills on time, too....

So in a moment of impetuous righteousness I decided then and there to pay off the entire balance, sent it off in the mail and was done with the student loan forever. Yay me! However, the damage was done.  I waited in misery for the score alert to come, reflecting my late payment.

Except...it never came. What DID come was a score alert indicating a score increase and evidencing the fact that my student loan debt went from $XX to $0.

So....would the late payment have been reflected by now? Or am I in the clear?
